My first blog!

I have finally succumbed to the blogging world! After my sister created her blog and I became addicted to it - I realized it was such a great way to use as a creative outlet and a way to keep in touch with friends and family. So I decided to start my own. I'm hoping this will provide enjoyment for those who love family, children, writing, traveling, reading, relaxing and all things I will dub as "my favorite things" (which may be many). Well here goes...
